Hydra Group

MQL5 trading bots and custom indicators, built around your rules.

We develop Expert Advisors and custom indicators for MetaTrader 5 when an off-the-shelf robot cannot encode how you actually trade. The work is software: entries, exits, risk, and signals you can explain — not a Marketplace product that promises returns.

01

A first version you can run in week one

Not a strategy PDF. Not months of research theatre.

We ship the first Expert Advisor or indicator that encodes the rules you already trade — compiling, attaching, and running on a demo account.

Then we tighten risk, filters, and execution on something you can already test.

02

10+ years maintaining and growing apps.

Markets, brokers, and terminals change. That experience is how a first version gets into Strategy Tester — and how the bot stays owned afterwards instead of becoming a file nobody can open.

When generic software stops fitting.

The Marketplace EA is someone else's strategy

Inputs you can tweak are not the same as logic you own. When the market regime changes, a black box cannot be rewritten.

The indicator is a screenshot, not a spec

A public oscillator with extra colours is not your setup. You need levels, confirmations, and alerts that match the chart you already trade.

The rules live in a notebook

Entries, filters, and exceptions exist in the trader's head. They cannot be tested, handed to another account, or audited after a bad week.

Risk is an afterthought in the code

A bot that can open trades without position size, spread, or session rules is not an Expert Advisor. It is a liability attached to a live account.

Capability

Built around the workflow, not a template.

Bots for MetaTrader 5 that open, manage, and close trades from written rules — not from a vendor's hidden recipe.

Signals, levels, and overlays drawn the way you already read the chart. The indicator is a tool, not a product you cannot inspect.

If you can explain when you enter, when you stand aside, and when you exit, we can encode it. Vague 'AI trading' briefs are not a spec.

Lots, stops, and exposure as part of the EA — not a hope that the trader will remember. Size follows the account and the rule, not a fixed default.

Break-even, trailing, partial closes, and time-based exits as operations you can name. Management is not an extra martingale layer.

Session, spread, volatility, and higher-timeframe conditions that block a trade. A bot that always fires is not more sophisticated. It is less selective.

When the setup needs confirmation from another chart or runs across a basket, that is designed in — not bolted on as a second attachment.

Signals that tell a person to look, or an EA that acts. Alerts are an interface, not a firehose of arrows on every tick.

The EA is written so you can backtest and forward-test the rules. We do not ship logic that only 'works' on a live chart nobody can reproduce.

One-shot jobs — close all, flatten, mark levels, export deals — when the workflow is a button, not a standing robot.

Stops, filling, and symbol specs differ by broker. The EA is scoped against the account you will actually run, not a generic textbook symbol.

Fills, exposure, and results can feed an internal dashboard or operations tool when that is in scope. The terminal does not have to be the only record.

Approach

How we approach trading software.

01

Write the rules down first

Entries, filters, risk, and exceptions become a spec before a line of MQL5. If the rule cannot be stated, it cannot be coded honestly.

02

Build something you can test

The first version compiles, attaches, and runs in Strategy Tester and on a demo account. Live money is not the first environment.

03

Keep an owner after it is live

Brokers, symbols, and terminals change. Maintenance exists so a working EA does not become an unreadable .ex5 six months later.

Questions

Do you guarantee trading results?
No. We build software that follows your rules. Past tests, Marketplace screenshots, and a clean backtest are not a promise of future returns. If a vendor is selling a profit, that is a different product than this service.
Is this MetaTrader 5 only?
MQL5 on MetaTrader 5 is the default. If you need MetaTrader 4 / MQL4, say so in the brief — it is a different codebase, not a toggle. We do not build exchange matching engines or a brokerage.
What do you need from us to start?
The rules: when you enter, when you stand aside, how you size, and how you exit. A chart with marked examples is more useful than a vague style. If the logic is not yours yet, this is not a 'find me a strategy' engagement.
Can the bot talk to our internal systems?
Yes, when that is in scope. Deals and exposure can feed an internal dashboard, and financial operations software can connect bank balances beside trading activity. The terminal does not have to be the only system of record.

Tell us what the software needs to do.

Share the workflow, the current tools, and the outcome you need. We will come back with a scoped project estimate — not a generic package.
